Review: I have to admit that I am a huge sucker for erotic romance novels. I don't know what it is, but after reading the 50 Shades of Grey saga, I became hooked! I came across Craving when I was on Instagram. It was an ad that stated the storyline was steamier than that of Christian Grey. So naturally I had to give it a chance! Although the story was stimulating in some ways, it was really difficult for me to concentrate on that and the characters because there were so many glaring typos and grammar errors. The errors were not just in the beginning, middle, or end of the book, but all throughout. I was dedicated to get through the novel, but it was very distracting. If there weren't as many errors, I would have enjoyed the book a lot more. The relationship between Jade and Talon was interesting for sure, but something always felt off for me. Their connection did not come across as genuine as other character connections I have read about. Since this story is presented as a Saga, I wish that Hardt would have spent more time on the setting details and character development. I think doing so would have made this story significantly better. But overall it was a quick read, so I would recommend it for the beach or a lazy Sunday.
Book Description: "After being left at the altar, Jade Roberts seeks solace at her best friend's ranch on the Colorado western slope. Her humiliation still ripe, she doesn't expect to be attracted to her friend's reticent brother, but when the gorgeous cowboy kisses her, all bets are off. Talon Steel is broken. Having never fully healed from a horrific childhood trauma, he simply exists, taking from women what is offered and giving nothing in return...until Jade Roberts catapults into his life. She is beautiful, sweet, and giving, and his desire for her becomes a craving he fears he'll never be able to satisfy. Passion sizzles between the two lovers...but long-buried secrets haunt them both and may eventually tear them apart."
